Custom Home on Stoneburner Road in Edinburg, Virginia
Our Edinburg, Virginia customer had purchased land out on Stoneburner Rd in Shenandoah County. They were living on the property in a manufactured home and were now prepared to build their permanent home. Valley Builders delivered a custom-built house they could now call home.

The house structure is 1,800 square feet sitting on an unfinished basement. Since the homeowner was already living on the property a well had been drilled and septic was in place. This took some the work off us, so we decided to complete the build-out and hook into the existing infrastructure afterwards.
The outside of the home was finished in green siding that compliments the wooded surroundings of the land. We can’t disrupt that beautiful Shenandoah Valley landscape! A covered side entrance and half porch on the front really complete the curb (forest) appeal of the house.
With the custom home complete there was one last hurdle to clear, the permit of occupancy. In order to receive this from the County the owner had to remove the trailer from the property. Once complete, with permit in hand, we turned the keys over to the new home owner!. This is always a great feeling.
For this owner I am not sure they cared which came first, the land or the house, they are just happy to have both!
